Project Developments

Its been quite a year so far.  Clients are asking for bespoke planters like this one which is on casters so it can be moved around the paved area outside their house. In this case made of larch but can be made of timber to suit your needs.  This is lined with a damp proof membrane to reduce rot
and of course I am still doing bespoke loggias like this one in spruce.  Quite a little sun trap, with a small roof built into the back for privacy and a wind break.

As well as a number of re-roofing jobs we have been working on replacing facia boards and verges with some clients replacing wet verge with proprietary dry verge systems which set off the house a treat and are maintenance free.

Dry verge and facia

And if that wasn't enough  we are now able to install log burning stoves.

Kitchen 'Makeovers'

Ready for family use

Complete kitchen refurb
As well as building extensions that are sympathetic to existing buildings I am also able to refurbish and develop living space to customer specifications.

I have recently completed two kitchen makeovers, each of which required considerable preliminary work in preparation for the final fitting of the kitchen units.  Knowing many of the local tradespeople helps me to co-ordinate all aspects of a job, bringing in other trades such as plumbers and electricians as and when they are needed.  This makes it much easier for the customer.

If you would like a new kitchen installed or would like to discuss a living space 'makeover' give me a call on 07815 091289

I've just noticed that I took the photo before I had done the final clean up at the end of the job.   Ooops ...

Hardwood Porch Part II

Last week I posted a picture of the finished article, here is how we got there.

The ground works were completed to full building regs specifications and dwarf walls erected.

The purpose built hardwood porch was then mounted and fixed in place in readiness for the cut roof.
